1. Setting a Record
By becoming the Record holder of YOGASANA BOOK OF WORLD RECORD COUNCIL (YBWRC), you are taking on the responsibility of becoming our Brand ambassador. We allow you to use the name & logo of YBWRC and accept to appreciate and respect the brand.
2. Process of Approval of Record
To become a Yogasana Book of world record council holder; you can either set a new record or break an existing record. Following are the requirements to become a record holder of YBWRC:
- Prepare yourself for the record and practice for the final attempt. Fill out the form of YBWRC and mail us at info:-.
- After receiving your form, the team of YBWRC would review it and give you acknowledgement of acceptance to attempt the record.
- You can invite a Record Management Judge/adjudicator from YBWRC (not mandatory) along with acknowledgement of acceptance.
- You will receive record-specific guidelines which you need to follow during attempting the record.
- Send all the evidence to YBWRC in case you have not invited a Record Management Judge/ adjudicator. (You are supposed to email all the evidences at- …email id_)
- If your record is approved, you would be provided with the Certificate of YBWRC.
3. Record Certification
- Make your record-breaking experience event an unforgettable event.
- Use of the YBWRC's logo in your attempt can generate excitement and attention. You can freely use the YBWRC logo on T-shirts, Banners, posters, handouts and media releases with prior permission.
- To acknowledge the World Record attempt by an official RMJ on the spot, a provisional certificate is presented to the successful claimant after the verification of the claim. YBWRC Provisional Certificate contains the details of the record including the name of the record holder, date and location of the record attempt. The certificate helps the record holder to demonstrate and publicize his/her world-class achievement
- YBWRC also provides an extra Certification facility, which enables record holders to order 'duplicates of the original standard certificate. These standard extra certificates with the seal of approval of YBWRC can be presented on site of the record attempt by an official adjudicator or sent to the record holder afterwards.
- YBWRC also offers a 'Personalized Certificate' in case of a mass attempt Personalized Certificate enables record holders to order an edited version of the standard certificate. These personalized extra certificates (coordination/ Participation) enable record holders to include his/her name as well as some other information as requested and approved by YBWRC. Thus, all those who coordinated/ participated in the successful record attempt can have their name on an official Personalized YBWRC Certificate.

4. General Rules of Yogasana book of world Record Council YBWRC does not promote or accept attempts or world records that can potentially lead to any land of destruction or harm to property, health, morality or general well-being of an individual/organization/ society.
- Approval or disapproval of any attempt and certification will be wholly and solely the decision of the YBWRC team.
- We accept online claims and registrations of record attempts in some special cases for completing the certificate verification process, the attempter has to send all the required documents to the YBWRC office address.
- Record approval certification process may take 1-12 weeks as per instant recognition/ fast processing/normal processing.
- All the documents should be duly signed by all the witnesses.
- At least 2 witnesses should be present at the time of the record attempt
- Witness information should be sent along with all evidence proof.
- YBWRC team members need not to be mandatorily present at the time of attempting a record. However, authenticity of the record should be properly taken care of by having either an RMJ/s or/and witness/es at the record attempt location.
5. Claiming Record Procedure
- Record Claiming Material should be emailed; clearly mentioning the Claim ID, Applicant's Name, Address and Contact Details.
- The processing charge for claiming the Record is $75 per claim for Individual Records, $125 per claim for Organizations & Institutions and $250 per claim for Corporate & governments.
- The charge for inviting a Records Management Judge (RMJ) for on-the-spot/instant recognition is an additional $200 per day for every record attempt. If the stay is more than 24 hours, then an additional $50 per day is to be paid. However, in the case of mass records, the Record Management and recognition charges depend on the number of participants attempting the mass record since there can be more than one RMJ present at the record attempt. It will be mandatory for the record attempter/attempters or the sponsors of the record event to bear the travel and accommodation of the RMJ as per the norms specified by The Yogasana book of world record Council.
- We accept online claims and registrations of record attempts for completing the certification process, the attempter has to send/mail a duly filled Record Application form/ Record Claim Form, a Few Photographs related to a record, a Video of the record attempt and media coverage (if available) at inf0@...............
- Pen drive/ Hard Drive submitted as evidence can be sent with clearly mentioning the attempter's name, record attempted to address and contact number.
- At least two witnesses should be present at the time of attempting the record.
- The complete details about all witnesses should be endorsed with the claim documents.
- All the documents should be duly signed by all the witnesses.
- Claimed Record approval and certification may take 30-45 days.
- Failure to produce any of the required documents can lead to the rejection of the record claim
- Documents and material submitted to YBWRC is supposed to become the property of YBWRC and YBWRC is under no obligation to return any Stand of claim materials/ documentsback to the attempter.
- Claim will be accepted and approved after the complete process of claim verification.
- Approval and certification will be published only after the complete process of attempt verification.
6 Inviting a Record Management Judge
- YBWRC team must be notified one month prior to the date of the record attempt for sending an RMJ (adjudicator) at the attempt location.
- Travel and accommodation of the RMJ (adjudicator) will be the responsibility of the record attempter individual/organization or sponsor/s if any
- If the record attempt is successful, the RMJ (adjudicator) can give on-the-spot certification subject to his/her complete satisfaction. In the case of on-the-spot certification attempts, the approval will solely depend on the satisfaction of the RMJ (adjudicator).
7. Evidence Required
- Cover Letter (Fill in all the information about your attempted record). Record Participants' details with their photographs and signature. The complete detail about all witnesses with their photographs and signature Video Footage.
- High-quality colour photographs. Media Coverage, if any (Audio/video/print/electronic)
8. Mass record
- The participants of the record may be unlimited but must be a minimum of 150 for a new record.
- The proper timeline should be kept in mind while attempting a record.
- The sitting/standing arrangement of participants should be proper so that they can be precisely counted through any particular accepted method. The attempt must take place at a location which is open to all.
- Record attempts must take place in restricted areas with clearly marked and controlled entrances and exits. Indoor attempts must take place in a room designated for the attempts, and outdoor attempts must be secured by some physical barriers.
- A clear signal should be given and then all participants must start their activity simultaneously/in the relay. A clear signal should be given at the end of performing the record.
- A sufficient number of witnesses must be on hand to make sure that each participant performed properly, and groups of participants should be organized to make sure that witnesses can see all participants in their group clearly. Every participant counted who is within the barriers of the attempt area must fully participate in the attempt At least two independent witness statements must confirm the exact and final figure of the total participants and attest that all guidelines were followed during the attempt.
9. Unique Record
- There must be some uniqueness in the event or object to be claimed as a record under this category.
- The object to be claimed as a record should be the first of its kind.
- The claimant needs to give proof that the article or piece of art is his/her own property.
10. Collection
- The collection of anything should be at least more than 200. Further, it depends on the type of collected material.
- The collected item should be countable.
- Collection of anything can be considered as a record regardless of its size, shape, price, usefulness, importance or value etc. All the collected material should be in good condition. Broken/torn items will not be counted in the collection.
11. Evidence
- The participant should show resilience or stamina which is extraordinary and shows strength and capability beyond the capacity of a normal human being.
- The attempt must not harm any of the audience watching the record attempt.
- A registered medical practitioner must present during the record attempt.
12. Young Achievers
- The kids who are under 18 will be considered in the Young Achievers Category. Proof of age must be submitted along with the record claim.
- The record claim form must be duly signed by the guardian along with the attempter of the record.
- Task attempted should not harm the children physically or physiologically.
13. Achievement & Initiative
- Any achievements which are remarkable can be considered under this category of record. Any social, regional or organizational initiative which has been taken for welfare. If something new or good is done for the first time, then it can be considered under this category of record
14. One Minute Miracle
- The task should be completed in 1 minute.
- The time should be kept using an electronic stopwatch. An experienced timekeeper must keep the time of the attempt with a digital stopwatch. The timekeeper must provide a statement confirming the accuracy of the timed event.
- In case of an event where many participants are attempting the record, a big wall clock with a visible second display can be used. A loud start and finish signal recognized by the participant and audience must be used. Photographic and video evidence must be provided. The entire attempt must be visible on the video.
15. SPORTS & YOGA
- The participant should show resilience or stamina, which is extraordinary and offers strength and capability beyond the capacity of a normal human being.
- The attempt must not harm any of the audience watching the record attempt A registered medical practitioner must present during the record attempt.
- In the case of New or Advance Yoga Posture, written evidence of any Yoga Institution must be enclosed.
